After fifty five years I'm looking forward to going to Scotland visiting my Mother Country for a few days. It's a shame I can't reminisce seeing the pit houses I was born in and used recently as the settings for my novel, they were demolished in the early sixties. It will be interesting to see how the mining village has changed and progressed since the pit closed down in the eighties.
